well i should know better having gone to bed close to 3am, now i’m just trying to pull myself together and get started.
i’d really like nothing better than to crawl into bed and work from home today, but that’s not going to happen, so i’m taking a moment to centre myself, read the news, check out the blogs, focus on that magnificent dream i had last night, mmmmmmmm.

ok, now i’m officially late for work, i should get going.
really i should i got back from the movie about 30 minutes ago, i’ve got work in the morning, but my 8 – 4:30 ain’t paying for this trip (vic is here in 24 days), i need to make sure we’re both covered for the week off work, food, accomodation, transport… they usual stuff, so here i am slaving away on the website. well not actually slaving, doing thumbnails til i find something i really like and then i get to work.
i saw finding nemo and bruce almighty tonight, liked bruce, loved, loved, loved, finding nemo, it was funny and touching and the geek in me was just like, whoa. it’s nice to go with friends, but it just make think about all the little things i miss doing with vic, i love going to the movies, we’ve seen one movie together, that’s just so not right. i miss her so much. god, if start climbing down this hole i wont get anything done tonight.
i’m off to finish the thumbnails and so i can present a draft to the client in the morning. adieu.

i haven’t done much all evening other than geek with my fellow mac heads about the new machines and trying out what new software is available. ichat a/v and safari are amazing. ichat is a beta and works perfectly out the gate. the new hardware is nice, but i’m not big on desktops anymore, i’m waiting to see what the new laptop offerings are. although i don’t see a new machine, anywhere in my near future. i should be working i have some web development to finish, but i’ve been invited to go the movies, so when i get home i’ll get work.
i really don’t feel like doing anything at the moment. i’m hoping by the time i get back from seeing finding nemo i’ll be prepared to finish this website.
vic is a chapter shy of finishing her copy of hp, i’m enjoy it vicariously. if i don’t get the copies from my friend who is travelling this weekend, i wont get to read it til vic leaves (as if i’m going to be interested in anything hp is doing when i’m seeing my wife for the first time in almost 10 months)
i’m going to call and see if the movies are still on, either way, i’ll be back later.

i’d forgotten how energetic i felt after a nap on a sunday afternoon. although, it still doesn’t mean i’m leaving my house.
tonight is the final night of izahvaps (a showcase of local talent). i should go, it’s family, but it’s cold and rainy and i don’t feel like travelling anywhere. there is the complete lack of interest in the local poetry scene, i’ve heard most of them all at one point or another and i think i’m just completely fed up of the scene. it’s same set of people, blowing hot air up each others asses.
i really should be more charitable but ass kissing has never been one of my strong points. actually my thought to mouth filter, never seemed to work well. i’ve learned to bite it back as it’s about to come out. there was a point to this but i forget, so on to other things. metafilter is back up, woo hoo.

which helps me segue right back in to my attempts to filter what comes out of my mouth. i’m of the school that there is no bad language, just inappropriate language. that said and done, there i don’t use in the presence of children. good, now that we’ve established the ground rules… as with everything else there is a time and place for everything, i try not to burst out in epithets in the office, but the stupidity level i deal with everyday is guaranteed a could of muttered ‘fucks’.
i’ve also be told that my extensive vocabulary precludes the need for me to use any inappropriate language, but there are time when nothing in my vocabulary beats a ‘motherfucker’. i’ve removed ‘cunt’ from my list of abusive language, it’s a beautiful word, to describe a beautiful body part and it’s also a powerful word, in and out of the bedroom. oh dear, i’ve managed to get this back around to sex again.
i don’t have a one track mind, i swear. going to watch a charmed rerun, be back later.
