this interview thing, it`s fun.
i`ve asked two people questions so far and i sense a pattern emerging. food, literature, sexuality. hmmmm, am i so predictable?
well my boss cancelled lunch, tomorrow most likely. i can`t say that i`m really disappointed. the problem is now i have to fend for myself and my choices here are somewhat limited, primarily because of cash flow issues [there is none] and secondarily i had worked up myself for something expensive. c`est la vie.
the rain is pouring, i can hear it on the roof, i love that sound. i wish vic was here to share it with me. my thoughts are all over the place, we haven`t heard a peep out of the client. if we get this account it`s the only reason i`d stay put. i`m not sure what this lunch meeting is about, i have two sheet of paper on my desk which summarise my job descriptions, which i`m supposed to look at. i think i would feel better about looking at them if the pay matched. i don`t want to be here any longer, i`m not sure if i mean today or this office, i`m feeling…
that`s it i`m not sure what i`m feeling right now. i should call santo domingo, but i think i`m afraid to. do i want to get this bank job, is that a sign that i`m settling in here?

1. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
hmmm i think we would be a multi household family if we could afford it. london is top of the list, a little way behind are the triangle in nc and australia
2. How did you and Victoria first meet?
victoria and i meet online in the personals section of nerve.com, then proceeded to chat online using aim for about 10 hours a day [all day at the office, then for about 2 – 3 hours a night, after the boy chick had gone to bed.] we met in person about 3 months after that. she saw me after a almost 30 hours of travelling and she didn`t run off. i knew it then.
3. What is the most memorable day of your life?
as cheesy as this sounds, the day vic met me at the bus station, everything about it is imprinted in my memory.
4. Whose the hottest witch – Piper, Phoebe or Paige – and why?
piper, hands down. cool, collected, hell on wheels when she needs to be and now she`s a mother. i`m a sucker for multifaceted women.
5. What is the worst experience you had on a trip?
i love to travel and almost anything that happens is chalked up as part of the adventure. [knock wood] no lost luggage, no strip searches, no major getting lost, nada [/end knock wood] that said, there is this thing people have with my hair and just reaching out and touching, that`s guaranteed to spoil my best of moods.

i love my birthday, what i don`t like is how my friends treat me. this is the second or third time i`ve organised something for my birthday and my `friends` don`t show. i`ve gotten more greetings from my online community than i have from my friends.
am i bitter? fuck yes. i`m resentful, hurt and bitter. i`m there for them, i remember the birthday, they only seem to remember my number/email address/how to find me when the shit has hit they fan in their lives. i made a decision last night, fuck them all. i`m looking out for me and the people that are there for me when i need someone, that is my resolution for my 32nd year.
i mean i try to be a good friend, but what the fuck. i don`t ask for much, everyone knows how much my birthday means to me. all i ask is it be acknowledged.

Filthy Friday Five: Mr. Obvious Version

i think there is too small and there is too big as well

so there is this psuedo strike [or no strike depending on who you talk to], but what this means that it`s fucking impossible for me to get a taxi out of my house. there are people lined up along the pavement like on a weekday morning with people waiting for taxis, what`s even more bothersome is that for a friday night there is very little traffic passing outside.
i`m taking all this as a sign i should keep my ass in my house.
i`m sitting here reading the seven daughters of eve, but i`m ready to bolt, i`m edgy, i want to be doing something, anything else but sit around here this evening.
vic is off doing work stuff, so i don`t even have her to talk to while away the hours. the book is great but i`m not concentrating so i have to reread stuff, which is frustrating.
i can`t seem to concentrate on anything, i just want to get out of here and go out and do something. don`t ask me what, just something that doesn`t involve me being in the office any longer.
