Archives For August 2003

and now it’s over

August 24, 2003 — Leave a comment

i love my birthday, what i don`t like is how my friends treat me. this is the second or third time i`ve organised something for my birthday and my `friends` don`t show. i`ve gotten more greetings from my online community than i have from my friends.

am i bitter? fuck yes. i`m resentful, hurt and bitter. i`m there for them, i remember the birthday, they only seem to remember my number/email address/how to find me when the shit has hit they fan in their lives.  i made a decision last night, fuck them all. i`m looking out for me and the people that are there for me when i need someone, that is my resolution for my 32nd year.

i mean i try to be a good friend, but what the fuck. i don`t ask for much, everyone knows how much my birthday means to me. all i ask is it be acknowledged.

should i be worried?

Filthy Friday Five: Mr. Obvious Version

1. Once and for all, do you think size matters?

i think there is too small and there is too big as well

2. Would you rather have a great relationship with good sex, or a good relationship with great sex?

don`t want to brag but i have a great relationship and great sex

3. When you first became sexually active, did anything come as a surprise to you about the experience or your partner`s anatomy? Or did you know what was coming, so to speak?

i had a theoretical idea of what to expect, but the sensations were amazing.

4. What made you decide to have sex for the first time?

all part of a plan

5. Does oral sex count in the “virginity debate?” Does anal?

yes and yes.

so there is this psuedo strike [or no strike depending on who you talk to], but what this means that it`s fucking impossible for me to get a taxi out of my house. there are people lined up along the pavement like on a weekday morning with people waiting for taxis, what`s even more bothersome is that for a friday night there is very little traffic passing outside.

i`m taking all this as a sign i should keep my ass in my house.

getting ready to bolt

August 22, 2003 — Leave a comment

i`m sitting here reading the seven daughters of eve, but i`m ready to bolt, i`m edgy, i want to be doing something, anything else but sit around here this evening.

vic is off doing work stuff, so i don`t even have her to talk to while away the hours. the book is great but i`m not concentrating so i have to reread stuff, which is frustrating.

i can`t seem to concentrate on anything, i just want to get out of here and go out and do something. don`t ask me what, just something that doesn`t involve me being in the office any longer.

doing fuckall

i haven`t done shit at work for the day, and i`m pretty damn proud, i don`t feel like and really there is nothing for me do. on top of which, i`m planning on leaving early this afternoon, too.

how do i do it, enquiring minds want to know? be skilled at what you do. i don’t lie, i don`t fake sick, i`m good at my job and when i have something to do, i get it done. so now with little or nothing to do i`m bored out of my skull.

i should be getting my new and improved folio together. yeah, i got biz cards from the office which is usually a sign that i`m about to change jobs. and i got a call from the bank today for the first interview. if do good here, i can look forward to an assessment and the HR interview to see if i`m mentally capable of working for this upstanding organisation. that should be fun.

off to lunch. be back later.

32 tomorrow.

i like birthdays, i`m like a big child, i get excited. i look forward to getting older. i`m not necessarily sure about the wiser, but definitely older. i`m usually somewhat reflective, but on this particular birthday i`m looking ahead, planning on spending the next one as a family with vic and the children. there usually aren`t many gifts, you know the week before people get paid problem, but as long as the company is good, it`s usually fun.

yes, i am a big child, it helps me get through the day, i can be cynical and bitter, but i`ve found approaching the day with a childlike enthusiasm makes it so much better.

for those of you going to jobs that you loathe and despise today, take a moment to visit this site and start you day off with some merriment [actually enjoy it while you`re at work, take your mind off the crap for a moment]

i`m going to take my soon to be 32 ass to the shower, get dress and go to work. i`ll be back with more entertainment as the day progress.

that can be arranged

i have to say that aside from the crappy brian adams song, the three musketeers with oliver platt and tim curry is probably my favourite version.

that is all.
